Salice’s Air hinge wins the IF Design Award 2018

Yet another accolade for the revolutionary Air concealed hinge.

Adding to the numerous awards already bestowed, both in Italy and internationally, Air has won an IF Design Award 2018, in the “Home Furniture” category for its combination of the highest technical merit with sophisticated design, ingeniously accommodated in the mere 10mm of space required by this truly revolutionary hinge.

As the awards proliferate, the international recognition of Air as a highly innovative and functional product grows apace. This hinge incorporates an integrated soft close mechanism for decelerated closing and with its compactness and small size is able to integrate perfectly with the cabinet. Air is suitable for a host of applications and is also available with Salice’s Push system for the opening of all types of handle-less doors and in titanium finish.

The IF Design Award, organized annually since 1953 by the Hannover-based design organization IF International Forum Design, generated this year an intense competition with over 6000 products and innovations from 54 countries all over the world. 63 international jurors judged the best expressions of design and aesthetics.
